Ok so my trunk light keeps coming on says it's open but it's not. It keeps setting my alarm when I'm gone or sleeping so I'll come home and the alarm is sounding.
Idk where the trunk sensor is. And I looked to see while the trunk was shut I didn't see why it would b doing this. Is there something I don't know? Or is there a way to just take the trunk sensor off?

 

The switch is in the trunk latch.

 

Haha no wonder i couldnt find it..Well does it need to be replaced? Or can i just take the sensor out?

 

Check the Blu/Blk wire for a short. If the wire is fine, then you'd need to replace the latch to fix. Otherwise, you could cut the Blu/Blk wire to disable it.
