so i got my latest and greatest eg, and its a 94 civic dx sedan, automatic, im wondering if the eg EX transmission has shorter gearing? or something. idk, im no noob to d series, but i am new to the autmatic thing, and i plan on sticking with an auto. im just wondering if auto EX trannys have shorter gearing

No, they all share the same gearing. -Later, BR

 

Overdrive is actually higher on an EX automatic as opposed to lower on the manual transmissions. Final drive is the same though.

 

so its pretty much a waste of time to swap it?
