(97 ek 4door lx stock motor) Alright here's there problem my mph doesn't work, but my gas,temp, and rpm works.. I check the vss n replaced it with a new one n still not working n try my buddy working cluster no good either.. also found out there was one wire reconnected by the engine hardness by the driver fender.. Its a black n yellow wire that connects to black n white wire going into the firewall can that be the problem?? help please!!!!

 

The VSS gets power on a Blk/Yel wire. Can I assume that the CEL is on and the ECU is throwing code 17 (VSS)?
