Default 372r with .90 a/r

Has anyone done any test to see what the .90 a/r would make on a 84mm motor. If so please tell me psi and power.

Don't waste your time, if you're looking for low power than get a smaller compressor and turbine wheel. Choking a bit turbo up with a small housing will just get you bad results all around.

What is your power goal?

Be more specific on set up, A lot will depend on head, cams, comp. ratio and fuel. What are you trying to do ?

So you are running a .90 a/r.
O and 4 a very little time i will have it on piston and rod stock sleeve motor. I had a 4294r on it and it was hurt. Now i would like to do this with the .90 a/r. It is also a stock port head. It has a old set of crower turbo cams. I know it will not be that good for a 84mm motor but maybe a 81.5 and 9.5.1 cr motor. Only looking for about 650 right now but when i get the new motor done i will need the big turbo and i will get a 1.25 a/r.

Yes .90 a/r through full 4inch exhaust, honestly with your new build that turbo is more than enough you have guys out there with smaller turbos making big power, exhaust cam is very important!

IDK...we stopped dynoing after that and tuned the rest on the track up to 48 psi and it needed alot more fuel, so im assuming it wasnt taped out.

When do you reach full boost with the .90a/r and is there that much difference between that and the bigger housings in spool/response to warrant limiting power output?

Full boost with the .90 is roughly 6500rpm and 1.15 it was 7000rpm and the 1.25 was about 7500rpm but it really doesnt matter for what we are doing. You have the boost builder/two step etc. to build boost when you launch. but remember, if you aren't spinning enough rpms when you shift, you will probably fall out of boost when you shift.

How much power do you think the 1.25 helped.

going from the .90 to the 1.10 it only changed spool up by 100rpm. but made the same power with 3psi less boost. In my case anyways
