If you want 300+ whp, then a supercharger won't cut it.

NA k24 bottom with high compression pistons on a K20R head with Skunk2 stage2 PRO cams, 440 injectors, Skunk2 mani and TB and KPRO tune...Forget the snail, and the belt....N/A is my vote.
dude my boy has a jackson on a fully built GSR and man is that car fast it smassssshes my turbo LS for days @12psi with the supercharger the power is right there when u lay into it unlike a turbo wen u have to wait for it to build boost< i mean turbos can def make more power its kinda just yer prefrence<

Cmon man. 300whp with a supercharger is about all your gonna see. The limits of turbocharging are endless. Screw all motor and spray, turbo is the way to go. Do a search next time before posting, this question has been asked countless times. As for the k series build, if you wanna spend thousands of dollars and get smoked by a stock boosted gsr, go for it

Basically here it goes
Supercharger: PROS: Great power throughout all RPM's from low to high
CONS: Heavy in weight and can't get Max power like turbo's.
Turbocharger: PROS: Light weight, unlimited power potential (based on turbo size)
CONS: Turbo Lag (Takes time for turbo to spool up and make power)-So no low end power.

My turbocharged car makes peak boost (and peak torque) at 1,850 RPM, and carries the torque flat to 4,500. It actually lacks high RPM power. Perfect powerband for a daily driver, but not nearly as fun on track as my rev happy GSR...
People who think a turbo can't make low end power have obviously never experienced a turbocharger sized properly for it's intended use.

My turbo is at full boost around 4k. It doesn't take very long to get there either.
mahalos for all the posts! i just came to this from clubeg6 which ive been on for a while and havent really been getting any good feed back. one of my best friends has a hatch with a fullllyyyy built dart motor and a rev hard kit making 500 hp to the wheels and hes giving me different options cuz i wanna make high hp without the headaches! mahalos again good or bad!!! if you guys have links to any good turbo kits please lemme know

to start i am just gettin in the turbo game but my car was SC for 4 years and i am already likein my turbo better i was pushin 9 lbs on my jackson and only put down 232 hp and i am only on 6 lbs on my turbo build and 310 hp. My SC setup was a b20 bottom end with crower rod mahle pistons 10.0.1 gsr head with ferra pro comp valves crower spring and rettianers gsr cams witch are recominded by skunk2 kamakize header and 3in exhaust the only way i got that set up while SC was to put the spray to it i put a 30 shot on it and the blower loved it made 300 hp and 278 t my turbo build is a peakboost kit same motor ex its sleeved with 10.5.1 and skunk2 pro 1 cams and am puttin dwn 310 and 238 so there is power to be made with the SC but the high Intake temps are not worth it to me

Its really all about intended use... are you doing SCCA autocross events were you want the power through out the whole powerband or are you looking to put down some serious numbers. These are the questions the OP should be asking himself.
turbo= big horse power
Supercharger= a good boost in power through out RPM's but wont be winning any drag races. Still fun for a daily driver.
