I heard a lot of ways to do it..
BUT it also damages the rims..

has anybody tried removing paint? the paint looks pretty beat up 2.

paint stripper/airplane stripper....some sort of stripper, brush it on scrape and spray it off

 

aircraft stripper. let it sit for about an hour and the paint will hose off.

 

i dont sand it down at all??

home depot, lowes, walmart, autozone, advanced, harbor freight, lots of places

 

you can get aircraft remover/stripper from most autoparts stores or walmart type stores. its the same thing people use to strip valve covers. if your going to repaint the wheels i would get some fine grit sand paper just so there is a smooth surface for the paint to lay on, that and/or primer.

 

oh and u should proabably take the tires off....yeah u should

nah, that **** will eat throw just about anything that isnt metal including your hands. So wear gloves and watch ur eyes
