Need Someone Who Knows About or Has an HKS SSQV
I've heard there is a problem w/the hks ssqv and leaking. But then I've heard and read that they don't leak..Can anyone who has one, shed some light (good or bad)? Also what is the maximum boost level to use the hks ssqv? I plan on running a max of 17psi. Lastly, what is a good place to purchase the hks ssqv and a tial 35mm wastegate?
they are one of the only BOVs that cannot leak due to their dual (insert fancy word here) design. as for the 17 psi, it can handle it. although with 17 psi you might want to check out the tial high pressure wastegate just in case. viren (b18bturbo) sells all this stuff at good prices. send him an IM

Please explain how you come to that conclusion and suggest a good BOV. I DON'T CARE WHAT IT SOUNDS LIKE. The BOV is suppose to help my turbo not scare people in the street. So please suggest something that is reliable and leak proof.

im not really an expert myself on it since i dont care for that bov that much. dee is really the one who knows.. i think it has to do with the inserts. they are plastic and can break. do a search. there was a recent post on the hks bov.
