type r bar dont know where it goes

Default type r bar dont know where it goes

got this from a guy who said it came off a wrecked type r

anyone have any ideas?

That looks like an OEM rear subframe brace. It will not fit a non R without modification.

I'm currently drunk ATM...but I think that bar goes in the trunk-a-dunk of an ITR...and no not a rear strut tower bar.

Edit: I'll get a pic of mine tomorrow.

I never said, or implied that it is a 'strut tower bar'.

I am fairly confident that what the OP posted is a rear subframe brace. It bolts on the underside of the subframe, between the 'ears' that the LCA's mount to.

Here is one mounted to a CTR

The trunk brace that you speak of (pictured below) only has one hole on each side.

it goes under the car(rear subframe),it only can bolt rite up to a type r..wont work on normal integras like gsr for example..unless u make the brackets for it...the first pic is of a normal non itr subframe..n the second pic is of the itr subframe...u willl see the difference with the bar being bolted up to the subframe on the 2nd pic compared to the first pic..hope i helped u
