ok just picked my new disks up for my excedy twin with center plate.

1 disk is marked tm side (transmission) that would go toward the tranny?
2. the other is fw side (flywheel) does it the (fw) go toward the flywheel?

i had them this way before and it scared my flywheel bolts up some not to bad but some. did that happen due to the wear of the plates being so bad it allowed them to lose clearance and hit the bolts?

 

okay you want the plates that are marked to be facing you when you install them if anything just give me a call

 

sweet yeah I looked for installation instruction on there sites lastnight and didnt see anything except lining the friction plates up correctly.

make sure to line up the holes on the discs also as close as you can.

 

yeah i read that on the website but I have 4 people with 4 differant opinions on wich way the disks go on lol, and excedy wont answer there phone

 

done correct answer is emagining the disks attached to the flywheel and being able to read tm/fw
