Default Replacing lugs

Just bought myself an 02 LX, but theres a sheered lug on the front driver and rear driver side. I went up to Honda and got the lugs, to find out that theyre only threaded on one end...
How do i go about replacing these? Do I just take the tire off and they pop out of the back?

Honestly man, I was planning on removing the hub/knuckle off myself when I had broken wheel studs without an impact gun and it was really frustrating. Unless you have the right tools and a press then go ahead and do it yourself. I took it to the goodyear and they just charged $85 for replacing all four studs.

Yea especially if you don't got air tools or that press. The manager at goodyear told me they had a really hard time pressing the bearing back, so there was no way I was able to do it lol

1. take off wheel
2. take off caliper
3. take off rotor
4. pound out lug bolt with a hammer
5. put lug bolt thru back of hub
6. put a couple of washers on lug bolt
7. put lug nut on lug bolt and tighten until fully seated

time- 20 minutes
cost- $1.99 for the lug bolt

Yes, I know that you can strip your lug bolt that way but, it was new and it works just fine when you have no money.

You can't just remove the rotor and hammer them out, if that was the case I would have done it myself. In order to get to the wheels studs you need to remove the wheel bearing which needs to be pressed.

If it was only that easy.

Yea take to someone who knows what they are doing. I took mine to a place called Hon-Doc in Rock Hill and it only cost me like $30-$40 I think to have two replaced. I sheered both studs off when i had a flat. But yea don't mess something up to save a few dollars when you can mess up much more and end up paying a lot more. JMO
