I have a 91 Civic Hatchback......My 3 year old some how got ahold of my key and now I can NOT find it

Anyone know how I would replace it? I have never even thought or had to do this....

Can a lock smith just make a new one with out the key or can I replace the ignition??????


Looking for the easiest and cheapest option.

take your vin number and proof of ownership to the dealership. they should be able to cut you another key.

Nice so just take the title in?

 

and if that doesn't work you can take the cylinder off the door or trunk..and bring it to a locksmith..they will be able to make you a new key...

I called Honda and if I bring in my title and driver license I can get one made for $6.50

 

didnt have any spare keys made? lol i hope the dealer solution works but thats if the ignition cylinder has never been replaced. ive never had a honda still with 1 key working for everything. its always an ignition key and a diff key for the doors/hatch.

 

The hatch I have the key for the ignition worked on the doors but not the trunk
