passing NYS inspection

Default passing NYS inspection

im in the process of getting a 98 honda civic with a JDM b16 swap. the car is mint, only problem it its an ob2 car with a JDM engine in it. anybody know of any way i could get the car to pass a NYS inspection?

get the b16 obd2a computer and the second o2 and it should pass assuming you don't get any cel's after.

i have my NYS inspection license and there is no way to fool the computer. If u ran an obd1 ecu in the car it would fail. the only way like Anon51, said would be to run and obd2 ecu with the secondary 02 sensor and make sure u drive it atleast 50 or so miles to let the monitors come on then scan for codes. If their are no codes and the monitors have all gone through then it will pass. PM me if u need any help im located in Upstate NY( hence the user name)
