Default d16 vtec with p30 short case ecu

i'm currently running my d16z6 motor on a p30 short case ecu temporary.
just wanna know if it'll make much more difference than a p28 and will there be any problems later on?

I ran a Z6 off a OBD1 PR3 from a 92-93 XSi, which is also a B16 ECU.

VTEC will cross over much later, and because of that it will kick harder like a CTR, but that's not a good thing, since its just staying on the non-VTEC lobes longer, and basically gasping for breath. You can also rev it out, if you dare:

If you rev it out, stay on the oil level. LOL.

keep checking it, b-series run richer than d-series and so if you get on it and rev to 8k+ you will start burning oil, BADLY.

off topic, but is that p30 virgin, if so lmk when youre tryna get rid of it

I have a virgin p30-a00 ecu running a d16y8 in a 93 del sol i bought it this way runs ritch fauling plugs often and has a sputter at low to mid rpms while trying to step on gass. I tried a p28 i believe from another sol stock with a d16z6 and seemd to run much better please help willing to trade the p30 for anything that will help also it is a 5 speed
