Will a P06 ecu run my d15b vtec engine or a d16z6?
I have a jdm d15b vtec engine using a p28 ecu, but i want to take it out and chip it for uberdata. While its out, would i be able to throw in an old P06 d15b7 DX ECU so that my car is still useable? I know it wont have vtec engagement but will it run without CELs?

It will run 100%. It wont be looking for VTEC however, so you will be running with the low-rpm lobe all the way up to the 6800 rev limit. If you aren't going to be racing in the period that you have it, it will run perfectly fine.
