bearings questions oem vs acl specs?
so i have D2-brown
D3-black
D2-brown
C2-brown
B2-yellow
for my 5 main bearings codes...i wanted to go with acl but acl are mostly for brown-green so that means my 2 and 5 will be out of spec...
im going with scat rods but all my oem rods are C3 so they use brown..tha means i can buy acl standards right and be good?...my main worry is my mains...ill be spinning the engine to 9500rpms also so will looser clearances on the mains help??

if you change rods you can trow away all bearing colors you have because it wont work in different rods...
Take a micrometer and measure all so you can find new colors or to see if ACL where in normal tolerances. It also depens on what you build your engine for, some work better with tighter some with looser tolerances, all depends on application
