Default My Kenwood KDC-MP345U says...

PROTECT....I just installed components in the front of my WRX and all of a sudden the cd player, quit playing music and started flashing, "PROTECT".....whats that all about and how can i get my music back?

Let's see: it was working fine before you installed the components, and it doesn't work AFTER you installed the components. Guess where the problem is. You probably shorted out the speaker wires.

Protect means the HU has turned off the internal amp to protect it because it "sees" a short on the amps output stage, find the short, problem solved. 94
