Default Speakers Problem

Ok I have a 94 Civic EX 2 Door 5 Speed
Pioneer Cd Player

I just got some new pioneer speakers for the back, and I wired them up
Well, they work fine sometimes, but other times they stop working, and make my front speakers stop working also, then at a random time come back on.
But, If i leave the fade on front all the way, then they don't turn off at all....

Any ideas?

Default Re: Speakers Problem (rleonekc)

One or more of the speaker leads is shorting out to the cars chassis, probably in the rear, or possibly one of the rear speakers tinsel wires is touching the speakers metal basket or the cars chassis, all speakers shut down because the HUs protection circuits "see" the short, and turn off the HUs amp. 94
