motor boggin when push on gas...advice plz
i just finished my car i have been building. its a 93 coupe now a right side drive with a b16a. i pulled the motor out of my 95 civic and it was running fine and put it in my 93. i used all of my left side drive cars wiring. the car harness, i just flipped upside down so everything would be in the right location and still plug up without me having to cut anything. the motor harness, i tucked it to the center of the firewall and had to extend the plugs to the motor harness to be able to plug them into my underdash harness. i also put a wix inline fuel filter on it that i dont even know what it was for but it was the right shape and size. the motor runs fine until i push the gas. it bogs down and then catches back up and runs fine. if im driving it, it will bog and the catch up and get into high rpm and be fine. im thinking that it has something to do with the extension wires i made or possibly the fuel filter. does anyone have any ideas on this. thanks
okay its throwin code 3 map and code 21 vtec which vtec is not plugged in yet to its throwing the map. double checked the connector is plugged in and the 3 wires are the right color for the map. i deleted my charcoal canister and plugged all the open nipples on the manifold. i traced the wiring from the map to the ecu and none are broken and are pinned into the right location. my friend is on his way over with a good known map sensor...but mine was good when i pulled the motor out the other day too so i dont know

The MAP sensor has two power wires and one ground. Unplug the sensor and then check whether the two power wires in the plug read 5V to body ground with the key in ON(II).
