OBD2 car, OBD1 block

OBD2 car, OBD1 block (rest of engine obd2) Concerns?
I was looking to pick up an obd1 block to go with my obd2 b16a. Will I have any problems? Thanks.

Depends on the ecu you use.
OBDII ecu looks for the crank fluctuation sensor which is mounted behind the crank pully and gear.
You can swap it off the OBDII block if you plan to keep using the OBDII ecu.

although to swap the crank sensor, you'll need an OIL pump off an OBD II motor. ......have fun swapping that.....
You'd be better off using an OBD 1 ECU w/jumper harness, so you don't have to worry about the OBD II sensors you don't have on the OBD 1 motor.

Thank you for clearing that up for me as well. I have a OBD2 civic with a with a OBD1 GSR motor about to go in and was not sure how hard it was with that crank fluc. sensor install. Well OBD1 here I come.
