ok make a long story short. i plugged my cell phone in my cig lighter all day using the gps. well i had a faulty charger that got too hot and the fuse didnt blow so it burnt my whole wiring harness up in to my fuse box(the fuse box is fine). so i ordered a 1993 wiring harness off of ebay. he said it was from a 1993 si stick like i got. but when i get it home my clutch pedal has 2 pluggs a yellow one with black and blue wires and a white one with pink and black. but the new harness only has a yellow one. do i need the white one?

 

im thinking the white one might be the clutch switch. have you tried starting your car?


you might be able to start your car in neutral without your foot on the clutch

 

i have the harness out and i didnt get to put the new one in

Yellow is for clutch switch, white with PNK and BLK is for Cruise Control. (Hmm, in my last post the answer was Cruise Control, too.) So if you want to keep your cruise, then you need that wire. Maybe you got the harness for the S model?

Better get that fuse checked (replace it), too. You realize your whole car should have caught on fire, and that you are very lucky?!
