Default 97 Civic DX users?

hey peeps, i have a 97 dx 2dr. so far i have apexi WS cat-back ractive plugs, a piece of **** intake. and i need to get a header, i want to get the AEM fuel managment system (filter, regulator, rail). duz anybody know how well that works? also, what header will work on a d16y7? has anybody used a dc sports header? even though they only make it for EX? i heard that u can use it, but that u have to get a test pipe, and a new oxygen sensor so it will reach? and what about the APEX GT header? anybody know about that one? and has anybody turboed or supered they're DX?

As far as headers go for the D16Y7 engine, the headers for an EX modle of the same year will work, but you will need to get a catalytic convertor for the EX model and the cat-back for the EX model....then it will work....

I had the DC 4-2-1 2-piece on my 98 DX. I had the Greddy Evo cat-back, with no cat and it hooked up fine. I only ran one o2 sensor (which made my check engine light come on) and it sounded like a rice rocket, my exhaust was so loud I had to take it off. Plus I was blowing out black smoke. A couple of my friends said I was running rich. I did notice a gain in power though. If you wanted to get the header for an EX, you would have to get the cat for an EX and a cat-back for an EX (or have your exhaust cut so that the header and cat will fit.) And you will have to run longer o2 sensor wires to the header and cat. You should gain a lot of power out of that set-up.
I have the AEM system on my car now (my pressure is at stock pressure level) and a BBK fuel pump. It runs fine, but i still need to get it tuned. (adjust my cam gear, fuel pressure, and have my valves adjusted.
My friend has a 4dr DX with a JRSC on it. See what he has done to his. His username is Socalcivic.
