Will a header from a 99 Civic EX work on a 94 Civic DX engine? And will the stock DX header work on a 99 EX engine?

im pretty sure they'd fit...except the length of the downpipe may vary...which means u might have to shorten or lengthen ur exhaust piping...im not 100% sure so id get a second on that

yes, they will fit. I know this for a fact because i just installed a dc header on my 99 civic ex, and the header apparantly fits on several other civics, including a 94 dx. The only problem may be the o2 sensor. on the 99 ex its on the downpipe, but on most other apps its farther back, on the front of the cat convertor. Not much difference in length, but enough that my dc header came with an extension o2 wire for those apps.

Oh ****, just thought of something, if the dx is one of the apps that has the o2 sensor on the front of the cat, youll have an extra o2 plug when you put in the ex header. You'll have the one on the downpipe and the one on the front of the cat. even worse, if you put the dx header in the ex, youll have no o2 plug.

P.S. for the record, and in case you start snooping around, there is another o2 plug on the back of both cat converters, but dont get any ideas about using it in place of the other missing one, you need both
