Default EM2 engine codes... header ?

k so EX is d17xxx, and LX/HX are d17xxx too, except EX is vtec and lx/dx aren't, so i assume EX headers wont fit onto DX motor right?

i dont think there is a 4-2-1 header for the d17a2. you could check DC Sport.

theres no 4-2-1 header for lx/dx... the header is so short and the midpipe is so long.

DX and LX have the D17A1 Non-VTEC

EX has the D17A2 VTEC

HX has the D17A6 VTEC-E

And you can always buy an EX header/midpipe-cat/catback combo for an LX or DX... just have to extend one of the o2 sensors... Just as long as you convert it all over, you will not have any fittiment issues.

id put the $$ into braking/suspension.

It will also lose u some power in the lower RPM band.

If u wanna get cheap HP, get i/h/e, EX headswap, VAFC2 and nitrous. a 75 shot, and ur maybe around 190whp? or more?
