Default mini-me ?

as far as i know a mini me swap is a d15 block/d16 head. i have a non-vtec d15 block

is it possible to convert it to a vtec block? or to somehow use it with my 1.6 head? or do i just need to get a 1.5 vtec block?....

have you not searched for "mini-me"?

by definition you use a stock non-vtec (be it 1.5 or 1.6l block) and bolt on a sohc vtec head.

^there is an oil passage on the block/head mating surface that is blocked by an oil control jet. all you have to do is pry it out with a screwdriver.
