one day i was driving my car and i notice the temperature just started rising to the h on the gauge. i thought it might of been my hoses so i changed my upper radiator hose. i ended up having the same problem plus i also know my fan wasn't turning on. i cant drive a block around my house without it over heating and steaming under the hood. any suggestions ?

 

stop driving it until u figure out if its a relay or fan. you couldve blown the head gasket when driving it hot.

 

1. check head gasket
2. check radiator cap see if it no good
3. check radiator to see it bad, sometimes it clogs up**
4. check thermostat
5. check fan switch** located on thermostat housing area
6: if running full water please add coolant**

Is the coolant level low in the radiator? Are you losing coolant and, if so, can you see where it is leaking?

 

found out that i need a new thermostat where my lower radiator hose is and my fan is working did the jump my fan motor went thanks for the help guys
