performance ship what to do?
ok i have a p28 obd1 ecu which is currently chipped but is chipped wrong for my application its for a turbo and my car is now NA all motor. So im going to list everything done to my car and what im expecting out of it and im wanting your professionalism/experience on what to do.
before we get started i want you to know that this is my first build so bare with me as i don't know alot about performance hondas. I want to be able to drive it daily and maintain somewhere close to the stock fuel mpg but want to be able to go to the track and watch my motor come to life and tear **** up without blowing my **** up lol. With that in mind here is what I got
MOTOR
Edelbrock victor X intake manifold
dh racing throttle body it is also port matched
Hondata im gasket,
PTE Precision Turbo Fuel Injectors 310cc
chipped p28 ecu
greedy extreme timing belt
Brand new JDM cap and rotors
Vision Motorworks 10.2mm Spiral Core 100% Pure Silicone Spark Plug Wire
NGK platinum plus spark plugs
T304 stainless steel with mandrel-bent. ( chrome polished ) racing header
T304 stainless steel with mandrel-bent. ( chrome polished ) full exhaust

new head gasket set

I just had the head port and polished bead blasted and completely rebuilt this cost me $1000

Here are the specs of the chip im currently looking at it this to much or not enough?
VTEC: 4800RPM
Redline: 9000RPM
Launch Control: 4000RPM
Full Throttle Shift: 8500RPM
Shift Light: 8500RPM (Check Engine Lights Up)
02 sensor: DISABLED
Knock Sensor: DISABLED
Speed Limiter: DISABLED
i think i would like vtec to come in a little earlier but not sure what to do on that and the redline is that a little high? shouldn't it be around 7 1/2 or 8 1/2? WTF is launch control mean and whats the purpose and the same for full throttle shift what the hell do they mean and whats the purpose shift light again if i change the redline rpm to 7 1/2 - 8 1/2 then i need to have the shift light at 500 rpm below that right? the knock sensor and 02 sensor i understand that but speed limiter again what the hell is the use for this.

you need to stop where you are right now. DO RESEARCH on your engine and take it from there. If you don't know basic stuff like having someone burn a basemap on a chip for you or what a shift light or launch control is, then you're gonna break something.

this just means you had a shitty tuner. there is no way will a remote tune be better than a dyno tune, given both tuners know what they are doing
