nx wet system hesitates everytime in third gear????? i've tried everything
i have a 90 si hatch with a zc motor. i/h/e b&m fpr, blaster 2 coil, ngk 7s . everytime in third gear the car hesitates like hell when spraying. doesn't matter 35 or 50 shot always does it. even if i shut the nos off and just spray fuel it does it, my air fuel gauge reads rich i guess, but i don't trust it. 1st and 2nd gear when just adding fuel using the wet system its fine but once i get in third it just starts hesitating. i have a zc ecu and stock pump do u think my pump can't keep up?? any ideas of how to watch my fuel pressure while driving i have a guage on my filter itself. its set at about 48psi any info or ideas would be appraciated thanks.
I had the same problem earlier this week with two of these same kits, The only thing that worked for me was that filter that is in the connection for the nitrous solenoid inlet. Punch the filter out and that should fix your problem, It is in the fitting that screws into the nitrous solenoid that comes directly from the bottle (The inlet port)
I've theorized that when your spraying in 1st and 2nd since those gears are so short then nitrous flows enough but once you have a high demand for nitrous flow(thats in the taller gears or even 2nd gear sometimes) the filetr i think gets frozen up or clogged with ice so the nitrous doesn't flow as well hence the stumbling. Hope that helps.

you know i took all my lines apart and looked at the filter and thought that same idea to myself but then i figured they wouldn't of put it in if it did cause the problem. i'll have to give that a shot thanks. because personally i think the excess fuel is flooding not cause its getting to much fuel but because its not getting enough nitrous to mix with fuel to ensure the perfect combustion.
if you think your having puddling better fix that quick if not . . . . =BOOM
it only does that when spraying?
it only does that when spraying?
ive never had an nx kit, but from all my n2o experience the screen is only in the fuel side, this i thought was to stop any small particals in the fuel from being injected....it sounds to me like you running rich. what is your bottle presser at? are you sure that it is spraying n20 and not just fuel? what is your fuel and n20 pill sizes?
