h22 sound like a subby...need HELP!!!

Default h22 sound like a subby...need HELP!!!

This is my first H Series build and it sound like a subby when start. Can't figure out why the motor sound like that and shake. I would be really appreciated if someone could help me out. Its a 97 h22a4. The head and block is stock bore with brand new parts. Head and block been hot tank, clean, and re surface.

Head: stock bore with supertech dual valve springs/retainers, skunk2 68mm intake manifold, skunk2 68mm throttle body, skunk2 stage 2 tuner cams, ngk high compression spark plugs, full 6al msd kit, 450cc dsm injectors w/resistor box.

Block: stock bore with mahn 11.5 cr piston, eagle rods, acl bearing kit, arp main stud, arp head stud.

make sure your resistor box is right. I found one injector missing out on my swap. make sure your in time. did you have a balance shafts removed? all your mounts are tight? check and recheck.

my car sounds like that when an injector clip pops off, your cam timing could also be off.

Everything is plug in right and all motor mount is tight. At Cold start the idle sit at 900rpm

check if your firing on all cylinders. wet the header primaries and see if one it not as hot as the rest. i popped a wire off on a WOT pull and car sounded like a subbie.

a bad head gasket, bent valves and bad ringlands can cause this also.

My F22B1 Bisi cammed sounded like a subie when one of my plug on the distributor came off loose at first start up.

My car sounded like this a few months back. It turned out to be a intake manifold gasket leak near Cyl 1. So at idle and up to 3k rpm, Cyl 1 wasn't firing at all. Sounded just like a Subaru. Eventually it got worse and started idling real high and I found the leak. Hope you find the problem

That and that you have the firing order correct

thats three cylinders running alright.... i would take a multimeter to your injector plugs to make sure they are all working. like the others said, one cylinder is probably not firing.
