Ok well i bought two cans of AC Recharger 134a from walmart. i put 20oz. of it on my car and the max is 22oz. how can i make it colder! the AC is not super cold like other cars>?

 

maybe your expansion valve is bad. or your compressor

 

If you add too much refridgerant it will not work properly either. The only proper way to fix it is to recover the refridgerant from the system. Then pull the system into a strong vacuum. Then you can add your proper amount of refridgerant. Your best bet will probably be to go to a mechanics shop. The shop I work at charges about $100 to recharge your ac. If you add refridgerant to a completely empty system you will have air in it. This reduces the performance of your ac. I hope this helps.

hey i noticed there is a chemical, i think its water coming out of the ac pipe line. would that be considered a leak? is that why it might be affecting the ac system?
