I want to know how the v tech works, I have a 98 civic but when I try to pull hard I don't seem to get power like a v tech should? What should I look for fixing? It does like some kind of oil not sure which

is this motor good? D15b in terms of power?

 

...did you swap for a jdm d15b? otherwise you don't have vtec.
and with some turbo any d series is good.

 

you want want to start by removing the h in VTEC.. otherwise people will just think your ignorant and not worthy of knowledge,
and no. that motor blows unless you know what your doing
