Default Polyurethan bushings?

Hi guys,

I have a drag civic. I haven't really done much suspension wise. All I did was a set of Tokico Illuminas + H&R sport springs. I re-used the bushings LOL and now it's time to change to a new set.

I have never used the polyurethane aftermarket bushings. For my drag setup will they make much of a difference over stock bushings?

Thanks!

Upgrade your motor mounts and get replacement front bushing. The rear wont make much of a diff, but with the motor mounts and front bushings replaced it will send power right to the ground making the car more predictable.

be prepared for more vibration with the motor mounts though....its a matter of preferance. I dig them but some people dont like the added vibration.

Will save a lot of stress on your axles as-well

Well I do have the Hasport motor mounts. The street level ones. I have virtually no wheel hop. Also I have a lot of vibration already. The front is pretty tight in that regard.

However would I still notice much difference using the bushings on the dampeners? I kind of don't want to bother if it won't make much of a difference. I assumed those bushings were mainly for track/road race style cars.

But if they will help me hook up(which is my hugest problem) I will go with the bushings in the dampeners.

those have the least effect of any bushing. what slicks are you on? softer compounds are one thought about traction

traction bars would work much better then just ploy bushings, they tend to squeak and are more trouble then they are worth imo. But if your going ploy from energy suspenion i would go with the black bushings instead of the red. they are suppose to be self lubricating so you wont wear them out as fast and keep the noise down.
