Default 91 std hatch poor gas milage?

dont really know what i should be getting but i am averaging 27 mostly in town it does have a cold air intake on it and i currently has 17's on it. i am getting around 230 miles to a tank. not really complaining at the 27 but it seems low still way better than if i still drove my mazda with the 350 in it.

it does search for idle but throws no code right now it did throw the iacv code i cleaned it out 2 times(code went away) its nice and clean havnt found any leaky hoses so i cant pin point the idle problem.

all in all it has made a great dd for me cant beat a clean rust free 130,000 mile hatch for $600

any advice would be great to get my mpg's up. i did just change the spark plugs last month

LOL

yeah i know what you mean, but yeah they're heavier and it takes more power to spin them thus giving you bad mileage
