Default B16A to B20 non vtec. What is needed...

I have pretty awesome rod knock in my B16A... so, in hopes to repairing/replacing the engine, I'm thinking options, which is where the B20 came about.

So, was wondering what I needed to do to drop a B20 motor (head and block) into an OBD0 car that is wired for VTEC.

The main question I have is...
Can I use the B16A's distro on the B20 and call it a day?
Will a chipped P28 for a B16A work on the B20?

Eventually, I'll likely build a B20V, but for now... just wanna do it as cheaply as possible (hence, no VTEC).

For the Ecu get a PR4- any 90-91 Integra 5 speed...or if you go obdI, the 92-93 is also a PR4

use an LS dizzy, the B20 uses the same head as an LS....and they are cheap and easy to be had

like deetz said get an obd1 pr4, or have your p28 re chipped for the ls maps. just leave the vtec wiring tucked nicely away. if you're importing a jdm b20 you *should* be able to use the obd2 dizzy, although you'll have to re use your b16's intake manifold, and of corse the header

??? You telling him to use a vtec PR3 or P30 intake manifold on a B20 head? Won't work, not even close

If he buys a 99-01 B20, they already come with a low rise manifold. Here is a shot of the last one i had
