I recently dropped a 96-98 y8 into my 00 dx coupe. I used a 99-00 auto ex harness and converted the iacv to a two plug. So now i want to know how to run the second o2 sensor. I need the pinouts and a pic showing where.

the harness should have 2 O2 sensors its a obd2 car all of them have 2 02 sensors but i think in ex's they were integrated in the floor harness.if you used a dx harness u would have had both and just had to wire vtec and knock sensor and 2 wire IACV.

 

if you will put from auto to standar i can take pic from mine that i did, i will show u what cable u have to cut and wich one u have to link on the ecu, for use the auto harness, and need new intake manifold because your IACV is different, and throttle body too, i did this stuff like a week ago so i can help you, but 99-00 harness, ecuand motor are different to 96-97-98

 

well i used a auto ex harness did the iacv conversion. i looked at the pinouts i seen pin 8 and 23 are for second o2. now im lost where would the other two wires go? its a 4wire o2 also correct?

 

The other two wires are power to the O2 sensor heater element (from fuse 15 on Blk/Yel wire) and ground to the O2 sensor (from Grn/Blk wire; not pinned to ECU).

 

damn your a beast thanks alot. Can i run them to from the other o2 being i still have y7 exhaust manifold and they are close
