Default Clinking noise from transmission

The car shifts smoothly in/out of gears. No issues besides a clinking noise when accelerating the car. There is no clinking noise when car is in parked position or coasting in neutral. Only clinks when clutch is engaged AND car is accelerating.

Anybody with a thought about what could be the issue? I have already checked the clutch/pressure plate but maybe I missed something to look for. Any help is appreciated.

talked to some people and they thought it was either a defective final drive or input shaft bearing...any other thoughts?

Maybe you have a loose or cracked exhaust heat shield.
