trying to install a pa4 tranny in my eg
just like the title says im trying to install a pa4 transmission im my eg hatch but my hatch is a auto and i was wondering if i need to order the auto to manual mount for a ek or a eg becouse my coupes transmission is different from my pa4 my pa4 has a bracket on it and my ej one doesn't?

so when i remove the bracket i can bolt down the mount directly on the tranny right .... and i would also have to order a 2 bolt pattern right becouse the driver side only has 2 bolts to mount up the engine mount

I'm not sure I follow you here, you don't have to touch the driver's side at all, if you're buying aftermarket mounts though, yes it must be a 2 hole mount.

ohh im sorry im getting all new innovative mounts ... thats y i asked becouse they asked me 2 or 3 bolt patter and i was just making sure ... i really appreciate ur help

Some people don't know this, but the auto and manual have the bolt hole at different heights. A manual transmission in an auto car will be up like 3 inches from where it should be, unless you use a special conversion mount or weld in the correct mount on the car.
And the driver's side mount could be different depending what motor you have. You gotta look at your current mount to see what you need. Though if your mount you have now is alright, I'd just keep it or inject some "Window Weld", but that's a cheap/dirty way of stiffening them.
