transmission whine and grind

transmission whine and grind
Just put new gsr transmission in... with type r lsd. When I accellerate it whines and when I let go of the gas in gear it sounds like it is grinding. Checked fluid everything was fine. Any ideas??

yes dave i believe you are correct. but what would cause the grind?
op, is it a grind like a gear grind when changing gears or a different type of grind. where did you get this trans from....
