ok...95 ej coupe, jdm 2nd gen b16... idle is between 1500-2000rpm warmed up. i adjusted timing and idle screw with ecu connector jumped... then, even tho there is no cel on the gauge cluster, i checked just to be sure, and ecu is throwing code 7-tps and 14-iac , so, i think the sensors are just plugged in wrong... does that sound right?? there is also another sensor that hangs below the intake mani that goes to nothing...not sure what this sensor is for???
any help is appreciated...thnx
also, when u are adjusting the air idle screw on the TB, i know u jump the connector on the ecu, start car, warm up car, then unplug iacv, ...but what do u want the rpms to be set at with the iacv unplugged???
thnx

righton. thnx man! ive done swaps and im pretty savvy...just wanted to make sure the idle with iacv unplugged. im am pretty positive the sensors are swapped since they both fit the tps/iacv...i'll swap em around, adjust the idle and re-shoot the timing after work! i assume i should adjust idle before shooting the timing, correct?

OK..well...my other thread got deleted and im still having problems with my idle...i guess since it was a double post. sorry HT.
anyways, im gonna pull iacv off when i get home and clean it...see if that works, if not, i'll check the voltage at the ecu, but what pin is the tps???!!! guess i'll just try new tps/iacv and go from there... fml!

do not go buying new sensors until you are positive the wiring is correct. new sensors expensive and may not fix the problem if the wiring is junk.
