Hello everyone,

So maybe someone could help me identify my problem. I just bought a 2007 Si with valid warranty (65 000km) 3 days ago. When I put the car at 7000rpm ~ 8000rpm and put the 2nd-3rd quickly I hear a freaking BANG coming from under, passenger side possibly. This sound could be compare to wheel up or a LSD sliding. Seriously not a grinding. Gear not popping out, the tranny seam to run well.

Then I went to the dealership because I read the 11pages on 3rd gear issue on this forum, the tech try my car and said everything was Ok. As i was thinking... He try the car smoothly.

My solving option:
Change lub in the transmission for Mobil1, Motul (reformuled)?
Force the dealer to inspect the car thightly. (As I also considering to do)
Drive my K20 smouthly, not like a B18c Spec R?

Have you checked your CV joints and half axles?
