PIC Coilovers and Ground Control w/ Koni or tokicos illumina ftw!.....i do suggest aftermarket shocks if you was to go with aftermarket springs...IMO stock shocks are never made to go any lower then how it sits from factory..and with aftermarket shocks would be either tokicos illumnia or koni's.

good advice, lowering with stock shocks is a no no. I had tokico illumina shocks/struts and springs and loved it, lowered about 1.25-1.5 inches.

you could get extended top hats which will give you more shock travel, but the increased spring rates will still be too much for stock shocks. Also, arent the tokico blues designed as stock replacements?

Here's a theory, save up and buy them at the same time. It will be less work because you wont have to do it twice. Just do it right the first time. You can get a set of tokico illuminas shocks and springs combo for $400-$500 shipped on ebay.
