After searching through all the threads and having no success to the "no emblem grille mystery" for the 04-05 civics; I came across this grille on ebay.

The only problem I see with this grille is that you'd need to permanently remove the radiator cover. Since the removal of the tap screws on the radiator cover is necessary for removal of the front bumper, would the removal of the cover cause any problems in the future? Any of you guys using this grille?

I think this might be the grill you're looking for:
Do an Ebay search for 05 civic grill. It's made by Revotec and sells for $43.99 w/free shipping. The top part goes over your radiator and you only see the black mesh part. It's all Hard plastic. Hope that helps.

Sorry have to disagree with you. I'd rather have one of the aftermarket ones than that OEM honeycomb looking thing any day. These are past pics but compare for yourself.....
I got my girl the one on the first post. To tell the truth, is kinda sucks. :/ You have to drill your own holes and such in order for it to stay on. And it doesnt fit all that well. I think it looks better than stock, but it doesn't fit good enough to buy it.
Here's it installed. We actually had to zip-tie it on.
