Default oil pressure's?

i just installed my oil pressure gauge and i wanted to ask if my gauge is reading correctly. at idle it reads about 25 psi. at part throttle around 2-4k RPM's its at 50 psi give or take. then at WOT 5K+ RPM's its at 75 psi. is that right..... is that a lil too high???

i am using an autometer electronic oil pressure gauge

A lot of builders say that you should have 10psi per 1000 rpms. But on the top end, more Honda oil pumps will fall off after 8k rpm. Average is usually around 70-80psi. If you shimmed your pump during a rebuilt, it may be much higher though. My Haynes manual says you should have at least 10psi at idle and 50psi at 3k (I think).
