Default turbo clocking problems

i have a garrett turbo out of a SVO mustang...trying to be cheap..lol..
and it seems that i cant clock the turbo...i can clock the compressor side but not the exhaust side...i can pull out all of the bolts but 2. which are being blocked by the oil feed and the other one by the water return flanges...question..am i supposed to pull the bolts out all the way to clock or just a little..anyone have this problem. help please this is the only thing holding me back from boosting.

As long as they are loose its good. Its not gonna be easy to turn if it looks rusted. You will need to bang it with a rubber mallet and spray WD-40. It should eventually break loose.

not to dampen your mood or anything, but that is a BITCH to get to move...I have taken a damn sledge hammer to mine and I cannot get it to even budge .00000001 of a millimeter. I called up Majestic Turbo and they said I will have to blow torch it to get it to move. .....yeah I'm pretty pissed about it. I have absolutely 100% everything I need to install my kit and its all been sitting in my room for 4 weeks now because I can't do anything with this piece of **** turbo I have that is aligned wrong.

You're crazy Tony. Try the blow torch thing. If not then just get in on the GB. You got 6 weeks to boost, then i'm off! hahhahahaha
