Default Antenna Delete Plate

I'm tired of seeing my antenna on my car so I found that Honda has an OEM delete plate. How exactly do you use this? Its it pulled out and then you cover it? Does the antenna go into the A-Pillar? If anyone who has done this can tell me how to do this, that would be great!

Yes, just remove the antenna and pull the cable out the top of the car.

I barely get any radio with the antenna retracted all the way. i usually have to have to have it fully extended to get good signal. I like the looks of the delete but I like the option of listening to the radio more

I removed my OEM antenna and opted for an aftermarket, windshield-mounted antenna.

Hahaha!

OP, you do not want to remove the antenna wires that goes to the back of the head unit. If you unscrew the existing plate with the antenna, then push the antenna down, not too far, then put the delete plate over. Thats it. You will still have perfect reception, if you have a good head unit.

Idk if 5th GEN civics are the same as 6th GEN in this matter, But 96-00 civic have a plug halfway in between the actual antenna and the plug behind the radio/headunit, Its right above the hood release, You can unplug it there and pull it through the A piller with ease.
