Koni Yellows Help
So I'm looking to upgrade my suspension to koni yellows and g/c. My car is a DD eg hatch that I am looking to do auto x in the future with. I was wondering what spring rates you would recommend, and where would be the cheapest place to find them with extended top hats? How much would i be spending for this set up?
Just call up Ground Control. They'd set up tons of cars and should have the advice your looking for. Just tell them exactly what you want to do with your car. You can order straight through them as well.
I just went 380/380 on my 93 si and its great, good ride quality. most people will tell you to go stiffer in the rear for autox
hope this helps , also I'm lowered like 1-1.5max and shocks are koni yellow, stock tophats

Ok so I understand that i have to give up some on street or track. Thanks for the advice guys. So thmotorsports really has the best deal on koni/gc?

it was 799 shipped for no top hats and i think 899 with front top hats..thats the best deal i seen i been lookin for a deal for a few months...and you pick your own spring rates
i wouldn't rear bias a car you drive hard on the street. it's often faster in auto-x but slower on the street and slightly harder to control. neutral setups are around the 380/380 quoted or 450-400 with a larger rear bar. depending on your sway either of those setups could be a fun dual duty setup.
Yes, a ton of it. And learn how to tune 4 way adjustable shocks for both street comfort and track performance.
Ohlins, Motons, etc... can produce a better ride quality on stiffer spring rates than a Koni Sport (Yellow) shock.

TunerNOOb is right, I didnt think about thoses.
Freind is planing to order motons soon, I dont think i could ever bring myslef to spend what my car is worth on shocks, for a street car.
