Default To Mini-Me or Not?

Okay I've just bought a 91 Crx DX with a d15b2. With a terribly rebuilt engine and no heat OR a/c.

I have a b20 Block w/ internals and a b16a gen II bare cylinder head in my garage.

Im looking to make a Daily Driver/Track car out of it. I'm looking for around 200 hp 250 at the most (I'd like to be able to save gas, that's why I got into Hondas in the first place).

I do have a lot of the parts to build a B20 vtec but im also wondering how much a pain in the *** the wiring would be?

So, I should get a GSR? or should i go for a Type R? and Ive got all these parts for a b20 vtec. and i could easily get it up to 200 before boost.

I would say go gsr. also if you hit 200hp all motor and then why would you turbo it? high compression and turbo are a bad combo.

If i kept my D series and went mini me i would turbo.

If i built my b20 id go N/A.

Im wondering which one would be more efficient ive already got all these parts, and i dont feel like selling em to buy another motor.

Would b20 be able to handle the track as well?

If your road racing then stay N/A. Ditch the D series and go with a B20vtec, they make some good power and would be pretty fast in a light EF chassis.

High compression and boost is an excellent combo (as long as its not super high, like 13+) as long as you have a good tuner.

well ill probably stay vtec because the chassis is light, and the torque of a b20 will be great.

It will be sleeved and the head will be sent of tp be ported & polished. along with a complete valve train and cam upgrade with high comp pistons and better rods. Its a complete build.

If assembled correctly a B20 vtec will last as long as any other honda motor.

The only reason i thought abotu asking for opinions is the fact that the wiring might be of some concern. I havent found anything useful on wiring a b20 vtec into a crx.

But I will be building my b20 vtec (like it should be done) and will have it last for a long while. Hopefully.

I will be picking it up this friday hopefully. i will have pics posted as soon as i get it home.
