Spongy Brakes when vehicle is running Help
Ok just had to replace all 4 calipers on this beast edm crx i bought here in germany, i bled the brakes twice already and the pedal still pretty much goes to the floor when the car is running, not running it will build pressure and be solid after like a pump and a half. from what i read on here so far is that i may need a new MC. the fluid that was in it was very cloudy and from what i read if the fluid hasnt been changed that can mess with the MC causing it to be spongy. can anyone help me verify my thoughts are correct? need to order the part soon
before you replace your master try bleeding it... pump up the brakes like normal and just crack the fitting at the master loose very slightly... the person pumping the brakes will have to put more pressure than normal because you are trying to get air past the threads... if you have power bleed the brakes crack all of the bleeder valves to air bleed them till fluid runs out of them, power bleeding actually creates small bubbles in the lines
