What is my best choice
I have a 01 gs and i want to either put a H22 in it or do the gsr head conversion.
The dealership told me that the H22 isnt my best choice because of the weight to hp ratio, they said the head conversion is a snap to do also, i am planning on doing lots of mods to the car so what is your honest opinion.

The VTEC head swap is pretty well documented and it does make power but there have been issues regarding reliability. I personally think that if its done by a competent shop it is as good as the B18C1. For some added protection you might want to consider lowering the red line with a chipped ECU or a rev limitter like the MSD ignitions offer.
The LSVTEC is also the killer ap for forced engines but for that you will probably want lower compression pistons.

I'd probably go with the swap. it'a only about 85lbs heavier and the added torque is what your really looking at. plus you have the reliability of a stock engne(for the most part) it's an exspensive swap due to labor but a H22a with a good suspension setup is a killer. then you can always mod up the internals if wanted.
OT. The Dells rock. I've stayed at the Atlantis and Chula Vista. Pizza Pub has the best pizza in the world. I should know, I'm from Chicago pizza capital of the universe. I'm also considering an H22 swap. My advice is do a search, and when you get nothing, use different wording. The "search" function is pretty finickey here. It only works as hard as you do.
