Honestly i wouldnt do anything to the y8 motor, Save your money for a swap.
What are your goals in the future, All motor? Turbo? You need to figure alot of this out before you start dumping money into the car.

Ahhh Cali strikes again. Its very difficult to get any power gains through NA with a single cam motor. Youd bring up your RPMs more with a lighter flywheel but there isnt any other mods to take full advantage of that flywheel. Id keep it stock. Or buy a bike. lol
it will tak alot of money to pull power out of your SOHC motor without turbo. and once again i give props to u guys that deal wth emissions in Cali. Header, Exhaust and Intake would be the cheapest way to go.
i would want headers but my friend got pulled over and chp look under the hood and seen my friends headers now he has a $750 fine for it.thats y this cali smogs law is just ridiculous.
