why do i ask?
my brother is on the SAE Formula Team at his University, and they are building a turbo Forumula car. they run a 600CC engine, and right now they have a 12g, but say its to big so they need something smaller. im stumped.

can anyone help list off some really small turbos?

I have heard of a T-2 somewhere...don't know what it came off of though....

I think it has been used on motorcycle engines.

Oh...I was just reading through my old SCC mag and saw that Garret makes a T15.

I bet that is the smallest turbo in production.

 

i think i saw that t15 turbo...they referred to it as a weed whacker size turbo hehe

 

yreah, we in Europe have an Hunday with 1.3 litre engine or something, it is using an Garret T15 without an intercooler. slow 101bhp.

 

What turbo do they run on stock 3000 GT's TT? They look realy small!

 

TT stands for Tiny Toon? Ahh, therefore the Audi TT's are called TT's for their small turbo. It has to be so, cause the Audi TT is no twin turbo, it is a tiny turbo

 

I've seen a turbo on a .51 RC car before Blow through Carb setups on those things rock.
